FinArch wins prestigious award “Lion of the Export”

Body:

Ghent, September 9 2010. Financial Architects (FinArch), market leader in integrated reporting, finance and risk solutions for the financial services industry, announced that it took home the prestigious award ‘Lion of the Export’ during yesterday’s award ceremony in Brussels.

The ‘Lion of the Export’ is a prestigious annual award, organized by Flanders Investment and Trade, recognising Flemish companies that combine impressive export achievements with a durable and socially-involved strategy. FinArch emerged as the winner because of its continued, excellent positive export numbers, its solid export strategy, and because it embraces ethics and sustainability as business imperatives. All of which is even more impressive given the difficult market conditions we all face.

Christ’l Joris, president of the jury, comments: “The management of FinArch has been very alert and focused, also in times of crisis. The company’s overall and export numbers are both extraordinary. FinArch can demonstrate a highly impressive growth pattern. The sustainability as such is inherent to the company. All the more reasons to appoint FinArch as ‘Lion of the Export’”.

Claire Tillekaerts, General Manager Flanders Investment & Trade, clarifies: "The ‘Lion of the Export’ will bring FinArch both national and international recognition among other things through Flanders Investment & Trade’s international network of 90 regional offices in the world’s major trading cities. In addition, by winning this award, through their outstanding performance, Financial Architects serves as a shining example for all Flemish export firms."

Dirk De Beule, CEO of Financial Architects, says: “Obviously we are very pleased to win this award. It confirms our export strategy, and honours the tremendous work of our people. We have grown rapidly and organically, and will continue to grow.” De Beule adds: “The recognition of our efforts by such a distinguished panel of judges is very flattering. This award further encourages us to remain focused on the delivery of the world’s premiere suite of integrated reporting, risk and finance solutions.”
